1. Brief introduction of rotary dryer

Rotary dryer is the most traditional drying equipments in China. Rotary dryer made in Lantian Mechanical Plant

shares many advantages, such as stable running, large elasticity of operation, strong adaptability, large capacity.

Because of these advantages, rotary dryer is waidely applied in metallurge, building material, chemical industry,

washing coal, fertilizer, ore, sand, clay, kaolin, etc. area. Rotary dryer's length and diameter are both customized

according to your production capacity.

Rotary dryer consists of rotary body, lifting plate, transmission device, dust collection, support device, seal rings,

etc. Drying drum is a cylider which has been located slight tilt with the horizontal. Then raw material(like sawdust,

wood chips, coal,etc.) being conveyed into drying drum from the higher side through belt conveyor, meanwhile,

heat air with high temperature also enter into drying drum. Under the influence of movement of drying drum and

the gravity,  raw material begin to move towards the lower side of the drying drum. In the drying drum, there are

many lifting plates, these lifting plate lift raw material, this enlarge contact area between raw material and hot air,

1) Wood wastes: such as sawdust, wood sawdust, wood chips, wood pieces, wood shavings.

2) coal powder, coal slurry, coal dust.

3. Working principle of rotary dryer

Rotary dryer is mainly for drying the small size raw material less than 30mm, The moisture content less

than 65%. Firstly, The rotary dryer enter into the drying sysem by conveyor or bucket conveyor, small raw

material is raised by lifting plate to making the raw material and heat totally contact with each other. Raw

material is normallyed in granules, it will be dryied from the front of rotary dryer to the end of rotary dryer.

In order to provide you the most suitable water content raw material, we can adjust the moving speed of

1) Rotary dryer should be installed a horizontal concrete foundation, and fixed the drying drum by

foundation bolt.

2) After installation, check all bolts and host storhouse door.

3) Dispose power and control switch according to rotary dryer's motor power.
